Richmond Bonfire Night

Recent research from the nation’s favourite sausage, Richmond, revealed that two thirds of Brits said they no longer celebrate Bonfire Night – so with our help Richmond went on a mission to change this and put some sizzle back in to one of the nation’s favourite nights!
We teamed up with Scarlett Moffatt to get the nation celebrating by rewarding one community with the ultimate Bonfire Night.
Scarlett’s down-to-earth personality reflects the Richmond brand and we know she resonates well with the Richmond audience following the huge success of the Nation’s Favourite Workers campaign earlier this year, which saw Scarlett surprise and delight some of the country’s most-loved workforces.
Using consumer research, Richmond devised a ‘formula’ for the perfect Bonfire Night, covering everything from how long the firework display should be, how many fireworks you need to see - and (of course) the best food and drink to be served.
175th Derby Scouts Group were deemed the winners of the competition, so Scarlett and Richmond went down on Friday 2nd November and supercharged their existing Bonfire Night to surprise the Breadsall community.
As the face of the campaign Scarlett’s services included 2 filming days, a radio day, media interviews and social media posts.
